Carolina Gamero is CIPC’s Senior Communications Specialist based in Los Angeles. Carolina is passionate about using stories and strategic communication to fight for issues like expanding access to healthcare for undocumented communities via the Health for All campaign. Since 2013 she has worked extensively with the Health for All Coalition on opportunities to connect advocates and community members to media and legislators in order to advance an inclusive narrative of health care access in California. Carolina previously worked as a Communications Associate at East LA Community Corporation, advancing affordable housing and economic development in predominantly low-income Latino neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Carolina was also a member 2011 and 2012 Youth Advisory Committee for National Council of La Raza and holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego.
