Carlos Alarcon

Carlos Alarcon is CIPC’s Health & Public Benefits Policy Analyst in Los Angeles. Carlos received his Bachelors in Finance from UC Riverside and Masters in Public Policy from UCLA’s Luskin School of Public Affairs. He has been a leader in the California immigrant youth movement for the past six years. Carlos has focused on helping immigrant communities by fighting for equitable immigration and higher education policies at the State and Federal levels. Throughout his professional career, Carlos has served as the President and Chair of multiple undocumented-led organizations that have been at the forefront of the fight for equitable changes for immigrant communities. Most recently, Carlos served as the Co-Chair of the Undocumented Student-Led Network and led them to their historic victory in securing a pathway for employment opportunities for all undocumented students in the University of California regardless of Immigration status.
